Lecture Recital at the Regional Conference

Dr. Jamie Reimer, Soprano presented a lecture recital entitled Fields of Wonder: Robert Owens sets the poetry of Langston Hughes at the West Central Regional Conference. Collaborators were Dr. Kevin Hanrahan, tenor, Pamela Miller Mezzo-Soprano and pianist Michael Cotton. Jamie Reimer and Michael Cotton are pictured here. All these presenters are from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Intrepreting Grieg’s Haugtussa was presented by Dr. Sharon Campbell, Mezzo-Soprano with James Cook, Piano. Both are on the faculty at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Children of the Holocaust: A Message of Hope was presented by Dr. Amy Rosine, Soprano from Kansas State University and Dr. Sandra Mosteller, Clarinet from Wayland Baptist University.

Master Classes at the Regional Conference

The Classical master clinician was Dr. Pina Mozzani. Pina is an internationally acclaimed mezzo soprano and clinician. She teaches at Wichita State University. Colorado Wyoming Fall Workshop: Broadway Bound

The Colorado Wyoming Chapter held their Fall Workshop at the Highland Event Center on Saturday, October 1, 2011. The clinicians were David Ayers and Angela Gaylor. This full-day workshop included a lecture, master class & Q&A with David Ayers & Angela Gaylor in the morning and a final recital in the afternoon.
